Make in India is an enterprise initiated campaign by the Government of India to provide a platform for international and national companies to set of their manufacturing units in India. The idea was to make India the most preferred destination for foreign investment. The main purpose for this initiative is to enhance job creation, skills and technology in major sectors of economy in India. High standard of quality and technology are the focus of this program. Apart from this, there is emphasis on environment protection as well. These enterprises will make India the foremost destination as a manufacturing hub. This will be boon to escalate and grown Indian economy at a rapid pace.
There are strict guidelines for use of Make in India logo. The use of this logo is strictly prohibited without permission which is provided by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion.
